Though we are returning to in-person patient care, it won’t be business as usual, so we wanted to outline changes that you will experience during your visit:

Everyone entering the clinic must wear a mask. We have masks available for $1.00 each.

You will be pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms multiple times:
COVID symptom screening will occur when you call to book your appointment.
COVID symptom screening will also occur before you enter the clinic.
Any patients who answer “yes” to any COVID symptom screening questions will not be allowed to enter the clinic,
and will be directed to contact Alberta Health at 811 or go to the Emergency Department.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?
We treat vulnerable patients. We trust those coming into the clinic are being honest with their screening answers so that we can maintain a safer environment for our healthcare providers, staff and all of our patients.

WHAT IF I AM NOT HONEST WHEN ANSWERING THE SCREENING QUESTIONS?
Unfortunately this has happened many times at our clinic already.
Your appointment will be cancelled, and you will be immediately directed to go home and call 811, or go to the Emergency Department where staff are prepared to encounter patients by utilizing full PPE (personal protective equipment).

Staff members are also subject to COVID symptom screening daily, and will not be allowed to enter the clinic if they answer “yes” to any of the screening questions. Patients who put our healthcare providers, staff and other patients at risk, potentially could cause closure of the clinic.

We are doing everything we can to ensure a clean environment which includes regularly disinfecting the clinic entry way, reception areas, and exam rooms.
We want to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHILE YOU ARE AT THE CLINIC
